Spain – Extremadura

Six days in the Spanish bird paradise, Extremadura, and the Montes de Toledo.

Six days in the mountains of Toledo and Monfragüe National Park and the immediate surroundings (the steppes of Caseres) with a focus on birds of prey such as the Imperial Eagle, Black Vulture, Booted Eagle, Golden Eagle, Griffon Vulture, Bonelli's Eagle, Egyptian Vulture, Grey Kite, Short-toed Eagle, Red Kite, and Black Kite. Additionally, other bird species such as the Bee-eater, Hoopoe, Golden Oriole, Eurasian Eagle Owl, and Black Stork.
The Iberian lynx is also found here, and there are very many red deer and wild boars.
Our guides know the best places. The walks are not long and not difficult to get to the best locations.
We go out for 6 to 8 hours every day.
