Looking for large mammals in Canada with a focus on predators (Wolf, Bear, Cougar, Lynx, Coyote, Wolverine)
Locations: Kananaskis, Bighorn Country, Banff NP
Experienced wilderness guides will accompany this trip in the Canadian wilderness. The participants will learn a lot about the different animals and we will do our best to find them. In addition to the predators, we have a chance to see species such as moose, wapiti, bighorn sheep and more. We use tracking techniques and camera traps during this trip. The areas we go to have a healthy population of grizzlies, black bears, wolves, lynx and cougars. The wolverine is also present (but very difficult to find). If the trip is planned in the winter, the bears are in hibernation and the focus is on wolf and cougar.
We do not guarantee sightings, but we do our best.
