Gait training
The name of the running groups is Voshaar Outdoor SEC. This stands for: Speed, Endurance and Character. And this reflects the elements that are used for training and directly relates to our training vision.
The training sessions take place on Monday and Friday evenings on the gravel court of the Outdoor Sports Centre and on Saturday mornings on the Lochemse Berg.
Training is based on schedules, where, in addition to serious performance-oriented work, fun, motivation, discipline and mutual respect are the key concepts.
In addition to the group schedules, there is also the possibility to train according to individual schedules. The trainers are available for this.
The opportunity is offered to train for distances from 100 meters to the marathon. And always with an eye for the individual.
In addition to the running training, there is also the option of doing running-specific strength training and personalized schedules can also be drawn up for this.

.Many runners on the Voshaar go to the countryside after the w-up to run through the woods and fields. Interval training etc. can be completed on the track or in the countryside. There are rounds of 2 to 30 km.
We also organize:

This training can be carried out independently at our place or elsewhere.
There is an obligation to cancel the running training. If you are unable to do so, please contact the trainer.
Youth from the age of 15 can also join these training sessions.
The participants of the running group are registered with the Athletics Union, under the name Voshaar Outdoor SEC.
So you can register for running events under 'Voshaar Outdoor SEC'
It is possible to take out an additional subscription, aimed at full guidance in the running area by Herman IJzerman.

The 'roots' of the Voshaar therefore lie in running.
